may I have the link?

This isnt done for any racing Ive ever heard of, and would solve 98% of the issues in all of these threads. And i definately think power to weight should be displayed clearly on back windows so it's easy to see who needs reclassing.

Try the 4th one down from the top as a starting point.

b. Twin sequential turbochargers may be replaced with a single turbocharger
provided the inlet opening area does not exceed the combined inlet
openings area of the twin sequential turbochargers.

Wow, whoever wrote that doesnt know how circles work haha.

It seems like these rules simply keep similar power to weight cars on the track at the same time but don't actually help competition within classes?

Isnt the guy who is closest to the pwr/weight but without being stepped into the next class just going to win?

Isn't this exactly the same as using times, like wakefield 1:06-1:08 then 1:08-1:10 etc, doesnt a guy who runs 7's just drop into the 1:08-1:10 class and everyone basically just runs a regularity?

Would seem to me you'd want to be as close as humanly possible without stepping over yes. Remembering the car & driver are weighed AFTER the 1hr. Last year at Phillip Island we needed to be 1200kgs. I weighed in at 1204kgs. :)

Care to shed some light on the category you are now racing in?

QR sports and sedans, I'm running/building a Skyrice R33 with around 200-250 KW depending on boost setting. Should sit around the 60 second mark around the clubman. $10k-$11k, there was no way i could do it with a NA6, within that price range.

If I run a turbo choker, I can also run in Improved production, I see from the email sent out from PSCRAQ, R33s may soon be aloud to run in that class as well.

I reckon on a tight budget, that or the Hyundai/Swift categories are the way to go.

Built and raced a Excel cup car, Did the one hour with zoomzoom, 1/2 field was in it for fun, 1/4 way to serious the other 1/4 can't drive and smash and bend panels.

My car was one of the only ones, not to be missing panels and still straight. There was a punch up in the pits on Saturday.

Not for me.

if you have to keep standard turbo then you won't get 250rwkw on the R33.
200rwkw doable.
180rwkw is easy and will be more reliable.

But I'm sure that you'll soon have your own version of this photo..

If you have a CAT the missing wheel will be in there in many many small parts. If no CAT, the car behind you will cop it in the face.

Then for CAMS events it will be IPRA with the restrictor.

Prodsports requires standard turbo and manifolds, and I will be lobbying to keep touring car Nissan's out of Prodsports as best I can. I have no idea who let them in for the one hour when the R32's are homologated for touring cars and the R33 and R34 aren't FIA homologated for any category that I am aware of, and are coupe versions of a sedan. If they let these in then I'll turn up with my Charger, or a 2 door falcon or my ute.....

Guessing the same issue where ever they were unwelcome. They win and people don't like it.

Prod Sports has been going down hill for a long time may as we'll chuck in Monaro and M3, the list I saw is allowing all sorts of weird kit cars, but funnily no Ginetta or Elise... Too much smoking goin on I reckon.
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE

Plus several others in the bone yard...
