I think you would have to expect Daniels 2.5 litre cars to just get quicker and quicker therefore probably quicker than goldie. But 2L nc's? Only one I know of being raced, by Bill and he hasn't done a huge amount of work. Don't know what the end point in performance for them is. But obviously a more expensive exercise than an NB.

No expert but for 2f... They have larger brakes as standard which is a plus. But also heavier no?

They have bigger brakes, but NB brakes arent an issue on NA/NB chassis, and much heavier.

Aspirated is fine at tracks like winton and Wakefield. But give me a car with power anywhere else....

Geometry, suspension pick up points, range of adjustment, ability to fit bigger tyres?
Not sure myself as I have not looked really closely at an NC.

Your kidding?
The NC is better in every way.
Take a stock nb vs nc, the nc would have it for breakfast.
Better motor, brakes and handling.
Take a NC for a drive and your see. Rx8 is one of the best handing cars around, the nc chassis is all most the same

Yes the NC has much bigger better wheels and tyres from the factory.

As for driving an NC.. I took this photo for you just now.
I did an NA6 vs NA8 vs NC comparo like 4 years ago when Pat had his, they have bigger better tyres.
We are arguing macpherson strut with all sorts of odd angles to an almost perfectly designed (for a road car) double A wishbone suspension.

I tried to find a good shot of an NC underbody so you can compare the suspension design, but the na/nb is just about damn near perfect this side of fabricated tubular double A arms. Its as close as mass produced is going to get to an open wheeler setup.

To production sports car racing rules, which one will be quicker?
There is a reason most are moving to the nc. It's a better base to build from.
Both had almost the same rrp when new, so don't go down that road.
Yep open wheelers and na/nbs are almost the same.

The variable you have not taken into consideration there is the vast value difference of a cheap NA and an NC on which to spend the $20K.
