Wasn't it an absolutely beautiful day? 8-)
Went out for a late breakfast, then top came down and we drove about 170k's around the hills, through Hahndorf (wow busy there!! ), up through Callington and on to Strath for a coffee and cake stop, then through to Mt. Compass along the Victor Rd back home.
My back has stood up to the weekend's abuse reasonably well, though I'm a bit stiff & painful now ... but I'm smiling ... first decent drive in the NB for a couple of months!

120,000km service the other day.
Did engine oil, oil filter, rocker cover gasket, air filter, fuel filter, transmission oil, exedy clutch, new radiator along with all hoses and heater hoses, cleaned a thick layer of dirt and grease of everything that didn't need to be greasy, dropped timing back from 14degBTDC to 12deg, put in a set of Mazdaspeed Eibach springs, and had the camber, toe in and castor all set up.
Feels good at the moment that's for sure.

Went to Jaycar & picked up 5 x T10 wedge LEDs for my dash. WOW, now I can read my speedo at night. I like how the clear LEDs make the cluster light up green rather than dull red.

Yeah, good for a bit of a change.
I also raised my rear-end by 5mm today, It just felt a bit low in the back. I don't know if it's my imagination, but that 5mm seems to have made quite a difference to ride & handling.

Lifting the rear will make the front work more efficiently , watch for feathering of the front tyres and don't be tempted to tighten your grip on the steering wheel.
Enjoy. Greg.

Completed the install of the GWR Roadstersport Header tonight. Made a big difference, more power, torque and an awesome sound. Beautiful night in Melbourne to test it out. :-)

Put my harness back in and took it for a late night zip around the block to see how it feels. Don't even need to go above 40 to know that, in the words of Apple, "It changes everything. Again." Definitely communicates a lot more about how the car is responding than with a 3 point belt.

Fitted an NB8B strut brace that I picked up on the forum ...

Cleaned the roof drains ...

Completely blocked off at the top! Amazed I hadn't seen or vacuumed all the dirt lying around at the top of the hole! There was even some chewing gum wrapper pushed down inside the passenger side!

Paint started to flake off my style bars so I got myself some plasti dip and repainted. I am a big fan of the satin finish!
Went for a run up Mt Neebo for the first time since the wheel alignment and it felt good. More settled through the corners.
