Hey guys,
So my 6ULs have cracked (no surprise). Now I need a set of wheels to get by.
I have looked at the idea of putting 14inch NA8 rims
on my NB. I have stock brakes. Just wondering they will clear.
Cheers

The 14 inch NA6 wheels clear the brakes on my 1999 NB.
The rears I can say with 100% certainty, the fronts I can say with 80% (pretty sure they fitted when I tested them but it was almost a year ago so can't remember 100%)

NA8 and NB8A brakes are the same.

Interested to see how it'll look like! Post a link or image if you have!

Is this a common issue with 6ULs?

It's "becoming" common. Not many cases, but new cases are become more frequent.

A particular batch had an issue, they are now old enough to start showing signs.

I like 14" drilled steel wheels, on everything and anything! Functional, rugged and supremely stylish! (Mazda) Astina 14" steels fit the NB8A perfectly!
Also the 185/60x14 tyre having a slightly higher sidewall than a 195/50x15 tyre gives improved cushioning for normal motoring..
