You are either packing cast iron goolies, or a little bit of poo just came out!
I now know why I'm not posting your kind of times... Well done.

It doesnt seem to matter now how committed I am, or how i dismiss the threat of a fiery death
I have bottomed out at my times.
I cant bust out of the Sprint 62s, Clubman 65s, and Lakeside 63s.

Time to upgrade tyres to something stickier i suspect.
Because i have run out of talent.

Cal, as stated earlier, Results will most likely not be posted on Natsoft for Club events.

Anyways, i have waded through the time sheets and produced the update 'CLUB' results for the day, and Progressive points standings for the comp this year.
1 round to go and the comp is super close.
A bunch of places could go either way. Terrific competition this year.

they may not be on Natsoft. Circumstances have changed at QR/Lakeside and they are only planning on uploading 'Race' events, not Club days.

Did they say why? Too time consuming?

Interesting speeds on turn 1 as I can hold about 140 on the apex, however at the start of the corner it is 140 :( actually I can just put the foot flat at the start of the straight and leave it there through both turn 1 and 2 and this is with the car as a 1.6.

Yep it is the at the moment same as another one of my cars (800M). Actually it has not spent much time at Plus this year, it should be out of there very soon just waiting for Jason to return from holidays and wire the ECU in.

It will be interesting to see what speed I can now reach down the main straight of QR once the car is finished. Plan is to let a decent driver in the seat and take it for some laps to give me something to aim at. This worked a treat last time it was done! You just need to lend you car to somebody who is going to drive the hell out of it!

So Trackphotos you enjoyed QR?

Certainly did, second time there for me. Tyres are looking ragged now though. Still reasonably impressed, Racechrono is showing 150kmh at end of straight, down to 124kmh at apex of T1. Looking for some 595RSRs to replace them. First quote of $652 supplied, fitted and balanced. Loving how cheap small tyres are.

Ross,
I tried the 595rsr on the mazda some time ago and was seriously underwhelmed with how they performed, I drove TimK's NB on some KU36 not long after and reckon they were far better, I know some of the evo guys rate the RSR but I think it may be to do with the weight of the cars and the way they use tyres.

This was an interesting day, after changing the diff on my own whilst not feeling real well on Sunday I got to the track to find one of the diff seals was leaking just moving the car off the trailer, so went off into town looking for the diff seal. Repco was no help, called Auto one and they could not help either but referred me to Ipswich City Bearings who had a listing and even though they did not have the correct seal in stock they managed to find another with the correct ID and OD just without the outer lip. Got back to the track and got that in fairly quick just in time for the first run on the sprint!

I was very happy to get the car going again and to have a chance to test out the new diff, I preferred the 4.3 at QR but hopefully this one will be the right ratio for lakeside, the locker certainly made things interesting, I pretty much had to learn to drive the car again, it is nowhere near as forgiving as the torsen was particularly on turn in, hitting the brake point exactly is much more critical.

Thanks to all involved in organizing and running the day, I had a great time after all the excitement at the start!

I put up the clip of my quickest lap if anyone id interested.

Cheers,

Tim

I noticed you seemed to stay with Brian in the last session before I left.
