BNE aftermarket alarm installer

Postby angusis2fast4u » Tue Sep 03, 2013 6:45 pm

Don't know whether to combine thread or open new one for different topic... sorry if opening new is wrong

As easy as some people make it seem, i don't feel comfortable installing my own alarm system especially since Insurance rely's on it. I am looking for someone who can install an alarm in my 1990 Eunos Roadster with: immobiliser, central locking (maybe not if weighs a bit) and alarm

Who in brisbane does a reputable job of these? and if there's a few business' who does a good job in the toowong area?

Hi.
If you want a first class install go to Audio Express he handles most of the Nissan Skyline work.

This..

Chris does amazing work.
He holds the occasional workshop where he shows people how easy it is to get a car started and dríven off.. even with security systems.

There have been a number of cars he has done work on which were broken in to and damaged around under the console but never taken.

I'll be seeing him as soon as I get mine.

If others are interested I could get him to join here to discuss all things security.

Is it really worth it, particularly on a low cost na6? Mx5 isn't a big target I wouldn't think?

I know I left my commodore with the keys in it repeatedly and people refused to steal it :-P.

um well insurance says i have to have an immobiliser in it to claim on theft.. so i might as well put an alarm in. may be a low cost car but it's being run off student income so its value is a good percent of what i earn a year....
