Although run by the Alfa Club (AROCA) this event is not limited to Alfas. In fact, it was won last year by a team of MX5s.
Teams of 4 to 6 drivers run for 6 hours with the aim of regularly matching self-nominated lap times. Please only join us if you want a great weekend of fun, and not if you're expecting to be in the top 10 teams, 'cos we won't be, even if you turn out to be a superstar, as the rest of us will still drag the team back down to a fun level!
Link to the website about the event is http://www.aroca6hour.org.au/
Practice and setup from about 8am to 6pm Saturday, with the event on the Sunday from about 8am to 5pm.
This is a great event that will only cost you:
Entry fee $285 assuming one extra driver to make us up to the full 6.
Full tank of fuel (dependent on car).
Accommodation about $120 per night (probs caravan park cabins at Wangaratta).
Food, beer, etc as well obviously.
Naturally you need a CAMS L2S licence and your car needs to comply with AROCA regs but that isn't difficult or expensive either.
PM me as soon as you like if interested.
