SE (MSM)engine rebuild advice

Postby ASE05 » Sat Aug 24, 2013 1:08 pm

Just picked up the block and head and now it's time to put it all together. Anyone got a link for assembly? Don't want to miss anything and have never done this before. I have all the normal books but not sure how they relate to the SE torque spec wise etc.

Advice, links appreciated my friends

Not SE, but Sabretooth's BP turbo rebuild thread:

MSM engine overhaul & torque specs etc:

Purchase an oil can (for all of the friction points), rustle up an old cotton bedsheet (to cover your work) go quietly and keep everything CLEAN.

Thanks 93, already had the Mazdaspeed link but it's 142 pages long and would kill my printer I think.

I've been flicking through it all, was just hoping there was a more condensed version but haven't been able to find.
