So has anyone gone any further with these Exocet kits? I'm pretty keen to have a crack at one.

the amount of money you would spend making a car turbo and reliable might be a very similar cost to this.

if it passes crash tests and you can road register it, its great value.

I've been chatting with him, he's local to me.

It would be good with 300whp, thats for SURE.

Ferrari embarrassment central basically.

When I saw their location I was hoping you'd get involved with this product somehow.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

We will see how it goes, but I may be quite involved.. We will see.

Hes a nice young bloke who's ambitious and has the skillset to pull it off, I reckon, he might need a hand however.

I've mentioned this to a number of people previously - one of the reasons I bought an MX5 was that if anything should happen, I would hopefully have enough of the car left to build a kit car.

As time went on, I realised that building a clubman didn't necessarily make all that much more sense...mainly because they are painfully impractical cars.

I figured that I could go partway there by really stripping out my car. Dann should be credited for that, after I drove his first gutted out NA...and that car also had a hardtop!

So rather than build a kit car and struggle to register it, why not strip out your car and get most of the way to a kit car anyway?

Of course, if you want to get extreme...

could be a good income stream dann.

if you could figure out a way of doing builds in 40 hours you could easily charge 4 grand for that and i would think that is a bargin.

Lol, I doubt there is a position for a second person building them, the guy importing will be doing it, however he is an MX5 noobie, and I can build 200whp setups in a week that you cannot kill. So between us we could build some pretty amazing things.
