my experience with ebay extractors is pipe thickness is not enough and they are almost never flat.

It has 2 flanges, both of which need to be flat, the head flange is warped often.

Yeah, I could see how that would be a bitch.
I would give them a try, price is right, but the gain on a NB8B would be insignificant. :(

Could you measure the outer and inner diameters of the runners just for comparisons sake?

My set also turned up yesterday. I have not had a good look at it yet but I was pleased to see they supplied 2 gaskets and bolts which was not mentioned on the ebay listing.

Looking at the position on the o2 sensor I am presuming I will need to lengthen the o2 sensor wire.

Yes you will need to lengthen as the o2 bung seems to be further down. I was going to replace mine anyway as i am unsure if it has ever been done.

Put a set of these on over the weekend just to try them out.
No noticeable change except for a little more volume above 4000rpm.
I'll see what happens when my cat and exhaust arrive.

Flanges were fine. Checked them with the straight edge before install... all good.
6 days in and no issues.

I had a cracked weld on the old rusted unit, so figured $169 wasn't too bad as I plan to turbo down the track and it will have a short life in the car.
I wasn't expecting anything impressive at that price point.

Mind you, I've only dríven it to work a couple times. Which is literally 3 blocks away.
I'll take it out on the weekend and give it a real trial.

I've been watching your build on FB.
I'll probably be in touch when it's turbo time.
