[QLD] Mount Glorious
While I don't own an MX-5 (yet) I did drive Mount Glorious in my Subaru Liberty the other day. It's actually pretty well known so it might be redundant posting this but I had fun in what is meant to be a comfortable family car so I can't imagine how much an MX-5 owner would like it; on a nice day it'd be awesome to drive with the roof down. It's about a 30min drive north-west of Brisbane; just keep following Samford road.

It's a well worn MX-5 route and yes, it is especially good to drive it in an MX-5 - provided you don't get stuck behind certain slower vehicles.

Haha I know that feeling. Although sometimes it forced me to get out at one of the lookouts which have some nice views, so they're not ALL bad

Glorious/Nebo is a/are glorious road(s)/mountain(s)! Same with all mountains though, respect the Mount and you'll be fine.

I'll pencil it in if you don't mind a non-clubbie coming along. My 21st is on the 7th, so I may be too hungover.

Re: [QLD] Mount Glorious
Took the long way home taking on Mount Glorious, was enjoying the drive until a fast charging black Prelude overtook me like I was standing still.
There is no more traffic control at the base of Mount Glorious road on the Samford road end.
CN, as indicated by JBT, just RSVP if you wish to come along.
By the way how is your training for the seaman's job coming along?

Going well! I took the option of PT, found myself one who has a head that is screwed on properly. No-nonsense training until I physically can't move. Also starting up Taekwondo again for the remainder of my time as a civilian, as well as purchasing a proper dumbbell set for use at work. Had my first stage interview, "YOU session" last Thursday - Passed through to stage two!
