the tappets/followers will just swap over between both heads. they match the camshafts, not the heads.

and the head that says BP05 on it, it's a BP05 head, not a BP5W.

must feel good to have it all done and dusted now. back to racing.

^^^Lol similar im sure there is a BP5w head that isnt as easy to fit or obtain as this one. But in the end will do the same job because supporting mods tell it to.

Here is a pic i left out last night... of the front of the BP05 head.
Image

Also i took some pics of the different inlet manifolds on the BP4w head to see if the end off the plenum where the throttle body bolts on was about the same location.
1st is the NB8a inlet mani on the 4w head
Image

You can see the surface that the throttle body bolts to is flush with the front edge of the head.

2nd is the NA8 inlet mani on the 4w head
Image

The NB8a throttle body bolted up to the holes in the NA8 inlet mani but the NB mani had two studs and two bolts where the NA8 inlet mani that i had acquired did not have the studs.

LOL (reads project r's post and edits post)(head number)
You'll notice the throttle body location is same same with each different inlet manifold. (My intercooler piping that dosn't have much room for adjustment went straight on.)

Yeah Dann,
But i guess the head would be $95 with the buckets included (unless you stash em in ya pocket while ya check out  )
head- $82
head gasket from UK was like 76 pounds or $85
inlet mani to head gasket was $7 (i forget what postage was so estimated ish ) (in hindsight the ASTINA had a METAL inlet mani to head gasket....which i would have happily used had i not already order the ebay item).

Sorry i didnt measure the diameter of the valves before i slapped the head on  so i cant confirm for you the size difference this time around.

Its great to have the car back on track Project R and also very relaxing to know that if she blows it just an $200 fix not $1200 like last time.

If anyone wants pics of something in particular then PM me and ill take em n post em up.

8) NA8 Inlet manifolds "are a premium before race wars!"
