Thanks Tim!?!?
Always need a brew at the end of a project. Be it getting out of bed or pulling a motor. Nothing's changed!

Re: ASE05 2
pick these up next Saturday - I believe original tyres
Once the engines in and running and if it's not too cold, she'll be off to the body shop for full respray in original colour and all rubber trims will be replaced. Interior is good enough to leave alone.

Re: ASE05 2
All that extra power and old tyres, they should spin up good.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

$475 for the lot.
Gonna swap the tyres from the ENKEI onto these and possibly sell the ENKEI or become a wheel whore. themissus may have something to say about that though

sooper hard bro! They're going in the bin if I sell the ENKEI.
Actually negotiating with the dude that bought my 6spd gearbox. I was under the impression it was killed but apparently it was sold in perfect working order. He wants 1K but trying to get down him down to ~$650. I'll be a happy man if I can get that on board to.

Re: ASE05 2
Block and head should be ready for pick up this coming weekend. Remembered that there was stuff I still had to do so I thought I'd make a start on the CF guards. They weren't looking to flash so gave 'em a polish. The pics don't show just how much difference there is;

100% sure I'm the only MX-5 in the US sporting this bad boy. I must like you guys because I hate stickers on my cars
And I just got back with the wheels. Can confirm near new OEM tyres! Rims are borderline perfect except the actual finish is a lil' iffy up close. Going to look into refinishing them myself.

Thanks MEANMX, only spent ~ 1.5hrs on that guard. Gotta say, the manufacturers quality control must be on par par with mine after a few brews!?!?!, grass seeds in the gel coat????;

Re: ASE05 2
Ohhhhhh that is bad!!! Glad you managed to polish them up ok. You don't expect to have to do that much work when you buy something like that.
