NA Rims Offset... Advice?

Postby MosieurCinq » Thu Aug 08, 2013 7:24 pm

Hi All

I'm looking at getting some 15's for my new na6 mx5, and was wondering if I could get some advice on offset, Ive been doing some looking and searching, and now just after some opinions on the best offset to fill the arches nicely!

Any personal thoughts would be greatly appreciated, (I have been trawling through the 'Show me your wheels' thread, just getting ideas on some rims!

Planning on pairing it with some more low, just to make it all sit nicely under the car

Cheers!

Do a search.
Then do some more searching.

You will get people saying only stock widths and offsets should be fitted, then people saying you can fit 9" wide with negative offsets.

Find a pic of what you like, then find out whats involved and how far you are willing to go.

Isnt it funny how happy it looks and placid. But a set of coilovers and alignment makes it so aggressive.

Such a calm looking car!
But you are right, as soon as it sits down a little, come camber, and even a roll bar, and its looking mean and tough!
Great transformation IMHO.

That car has 14s, which help make the car look happier even while looking serious.
