Hey Andy,

Any luck figuring out what might be causing my issues.

I still think you have an intermittent wiring problem in the ignition system, since swapping the ECU made no difference, the tacho is being dríven by the ignition coils and when it loses one cylinder, the tacho drops (if the tacho were dríven by the ECU it would always be correct).

As for the "uncommanded pump" in the log file - I've tried but I can't get it to happen with your ECU file with the async set to zero and wiggling the TPS / RPM inputs on my engine simulator test system. I'll try again today; I have a couple of old ECUs that I need to put the smoke back into for people so I'll be using the test system. I'll reply by email with what I find.

Ok, thanks,

sent another email through thursday, spent alot of time last weekend and can't get any real repeatable results on wiring :(. Even had it playing up on stock wiring and stock ignition coils.

Cheers

Hey Andy, are you planning on being up in Bris for the Evo nationals?
