Ok so re001's used to be the usual choice but now they have apparently ceased production and there are only a few hundred of them left in Melbourne. For those of us with 14" wheels, what other choices are there that deliver the same grip and handling of the re001?
Please don't comment if you are just going to suggest we should all just buy 15" wheels. Some of us own nice wheels that happen to be 14" and it would be a shame if we are restricted to family comfort tyres as a result.
I know there are Toyo T1R available but not sure how they stack up in comparison. I've dríven on Yokohama C-Drives before and although they were good, they certainly were not a sporty tyre.

Re: 14" tyres???
Had another look and apparently Toyo have stopped manufacturing their 14" tyres.... However I did see that Kumho are making 14" ku31 though, so that looks like an option.

Edit: ATR K Sport. Only in 165 though.
Would make a pretty sick semi slick stretch though if you like that sort of thing.
