 We've all* done it! I followed Danny into the gravel one day when he forgot to brake, and I decided to watch and learn his braking points from two car lengths on that very lap!

Great 516!! Feeling much better today, took the NB for coffee with Kev05 and JackMack, just had an email from Mick with the Black EVO with orange alloys [FQ340 EVO!] asking did we have room for him Monday, I said sure!! You know the car, does 59's on a good day!

See you there!

Thanks Rhys! Was thinking that earlier hahahaha!!

Still getting my car back together, hoping I will make it but still won't know till later this afternoon. Would be good to see the Evo out there, I had a good little dice with him at one of the QR lakeside days earlier this year.

Aside from that, is it going to rain tomorrow Roger?

Cheers,

Tim

I've never been less surprised. first time I had passenger laps, it was mostly underwater. Second time I had passenger laps, slightly less underwater. Now first time on track, raining at least. Maybe after a couple of attempts I'll get a dry day. Sorry for ruining it for everyone else in the mean time :p

Just to confirm, arrive between 8:00am and 8:15, ready for a driver chat at 8:45 with a view to be on track by 9:00am - is that correct?

There is some fast food available - hot dogs, pies, sausage rolls etc. plus various drinks. I'm taking home made.

It's a long day, you need some good food, lots of water and minimum 30 litres of petrol to burn on track :) .

The Pirate Ship is prepped and ready. In memory of Colin Wenzel, I will be feeling a lot safer tomorrow with new head and neck support. I wish all a safe, fast and fun day tomoz.

Nicely said Pirate. I supervised 'Speed Freak' polishing my 6UL's, it was best I watched and did nothing! Been having a good laugh all day, must have drunk 106 cuppas today as well! About to make lunch for tomorrow [NO RHYS!! WE ARE NOT HAVING HONEY/SESAME CARROTS FOR LUNCH!!] and pack a few things!

Great when you get the visitor to polish alloys, replace light globes and all that stuff on the rouse of a bad back! Oh well, I can keep him happy with:

1. A ride in the NA
2. A spirited drive in the 86, just hold it to 6000rpm in each gear for him to hear the induction roar!

The car is looking enough like a car now so I have paid, fingers crossed I can finish the few little things, get it to start and extract it from the garage for the morning. Hopefully we can have some good weather too...

Cheers,

Tim
