Re: MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB - BRASS MONKEY RUNS - 14 JULY 2013
Ill propose meeting the southerners at McDonald's on the Hume highway at casula. That way we can get a coffee in before heading down the highway.
The guys from the south and even the gong can take heathcote road and the others can head down the m5, take the Hume hwy exit at Liverpool, left at the lights and about 500m down the road on the right.
So ill be there and will prolly leave just after 5am from maccas. Gotta get to the front of the queue haha.

Eating McShite with a skim flat McKakiyarto at 5.00am is not on my bucket list at present . I will hang out for a strong short black Kenyan shot from Forsyth's Coffee thermos at the start venue

Re: MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB - BRASS MONKEY RUNS - 14 JULY 2013
Another Brass Monkey has been run and nine of the first ten into town were MX-5 including numero uno. As this point to point cannonball run is not a race then congratulations goes to the drivers and a few hearty passengers in 38 assorted MX-5s to set a new record for the zoom zoom marque.
The sun was not shinning. On a brighter note there was overcast skies and the occasional short light shower but no rain. Nobody had to raise their roof on the shower free dawn drive down the highway or in a loop of the Wakefield Park Long Circuit on almost exclusively dry roads.
A special thanks to Motormouse for bringing up his mates from the Canberra Chapter that gave us the 9 cars we needed to set the new record. I hope all the members from the ACT Chapter and everyone from Sydney enjoyed the experience of this winter dawn buster and a BreakFast Club run.
DO NOT FORGET THE BREAKFAST CLUB’S DAWN BUSTER EVENT THE 'ICEBERG RUN'
IN AUGUST UP THE PUTTY ROAD TO THE LOWER HUNTER VALLEY FOR BREKKIE

Re: MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB - BRASS MONKEY RUNS - 14 JULY 2013
My first club run with the Canberra chapter. My nephew and I both had a ball! Good company, a yarn or two over breakfast and a good squirt on the Wakefield long track is a top way to kick off the day. Thanks Michael, Peter and all there on the day.
