I believe it was Chris Tonna in Nemo.
Chris is now developing a Corvette.

Chris Tonna did a 1:03:6 I think from memory at the MX5 Nationals a couple years back.... not 100% sure on the tenths but it was definitely in the 1:03s, Matilda I think might also have done a 1:03:9, and she regularly gets well into the 4s

I should also add that these cars were restricted to being built to rules... at the NSW time attack meeting the V-sport EVO went sub 1:00 and once again that was built to WTA style regs.... will you sell the windscreen surround as scrap metal to fund the build or just weld it in upright behind you for a budget roll bar?

Sold and scrapped.

Rollbar is safety so wont count towards budget as thats irresponsible IMO.

1:03 is the record as far as im aware.

oh sorry, you would have to check out the v-sport website, but i think its got lots of cosworth bits and a fair bit of funding into it, but like i said its built to rules , for example there is now a restriction on weight reduction from factory for World Time Attack
