Indicator/Wiper module compatibility between NA and NB

Postby brenno » Sun Jul 07, 2013 7:21 pm

Hi,

I have a late NA8 with indicator stalks that look similar to the ones in the NB, and aren't straight like the previous NAs.

My indicator stalk has broken clean out of the module (don't ask, wasn't me driving) and is now hanging loose. All the broken plastic bits falling suggest it is beyond repair.

My question is...will an NB module fit and work? The one in the pic below looks like the mounting points are the same, but I thought I would check anyway.

Thanks....

Ha, that was quick!

Is it the normal NA one with the straight stalks?

Yep. I bought it thinking the electronics were buggered and I disassembled it only to find it wasnt user repairable at all (even if you are really good with a soldering iron), only to find it was a fuse...
