Morning Men!

Started to re-bolt the motor back together. Long story short.
Removing crank pulley to inspect oil pump and replace seals etc. I felt a movement in the crank, which in turn caused a movement in my pants, (not a good one, more the kind that leaves a racing strip in you work overalls).
After trying to get Zoom Zoom on the phone, no luck panic really set in. On to Google, after 1/2 hour of classic 70s porn I was feeling much better.
Google Miata shaft play, found Mazda press release of .300 of an mm play was cool.

Straight down to Hare&Forbes (Favourite place in the whole world), to buy a tool I will more than likely never use again, but when your mates come around, you can go,"check this s#it out, look what I've got".

0.15mm of play, so all good in the hood, back to pool cleaning!

After checking CLT on the MS, found the temp gauge was out. Checked the sensor and gauge with my fluke meter, found the oil and temp was out by 10°C across the board.

Who would of though cheap $35 gauges from china, would be crap?

Thats all.... the mx5 is gone.
It's been fun, thanks to all the people that helped and the people I raced with, it was tops!!!

You'll be back.... and probably in some over the top SE that has undergone major upgrades. Hopefully by then they'll be a class of racing that will be suitable too.
