Winton Website?

Considering a foray into your turf, trying to check dates on the Winton website. Has it changed? Cannot find a working site for them.

Thanks will consider those dates. I think the track also has practice / open days like the SOS days at Wakefield doesn't it?

Yes it has fun days, i recently went to one but thought it was way too crowded.

they also hold test and tune days.

i think the test and tunes are on either friday or thursday of each week!

Cool thanks! The SOS days at Wakefield can get pretty hectic but they split them into street cars and race cars, the race car sessions are not so crowded.

You could look at the vic mx5 sprint calendar, and join in with all the mx5's from down here.

if a sprints day is too crowded there's no point bothering with a tampered day.

The Winton website crashed last week. I called them abd they are looking into it.

Generally they have test and tune days every Friday but it pays to check what is happening on the weekend, to judge how busy it will be.

I hope th head up next Friday. Look at for a silver mx5 number 44.

Kuncha what's the format of the test and tune days? Are they like a general practice day, 15/20 minute sessions, grouped or not?

They are grouped sessions.

Generally you get 15 - 20 min per hour.

They do a fantastic job and you get plenty of track time.

Cost is $140 - 150 for the day.
