Is it the bolt on one of the D-bush bracket?
If so, carefully drill it out and replace the bolt.
Use easy-outs if you have access to them.

Re: broken sway bar mount, please help
Sorry guys, posted in a bit of a flap.
It's an nb8a, driver's side rear stud. Feels like its flat on the back. Is it a screw in type of stud or a pressed one?? I had thought about drilling it out and putting a bolt in place of the stud, but wasn't sure if it would hold/ be that simple.
yes the one that holds the D Bush in place.

I had the same thing happen to my 89 NA, and I did exactly what you have suggested. I used Loctite on it but that was probably overkill.

Drill it out and replace with a nut and bolt as above. Had it happen on my last car

I ended up drilling my stud out last night, was relatively easy. Was quite surprised.
