Re: Crapweasel's SE II - Maniac
1000th post... had to be here.
I like the lack of detail at the back of the car because it contrasts the front.
Thanks for humouring me on this one!

Disconnected it? Am I the only one that likes the buzzer?

Looks 100000000000 times better, like an 80s movie when the nerdy chick has her braces removed and turns out to be a total hottie.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Damn, I prefer nerdy chicks. But the painted grille does look better!

All I've done in the last while is switch to a tune from Boyracer which pulls really strong in this cooler weather, to the point of surprising me almost every time I get into it! And swapped out the dash lights for red died glass ones. Seems on my car to make the speedo look more orange, so still undecided at this stage.

Thanks! I'm quite happy with it now, but will require a regular respray as stone chips show up very well.

15s? That's a little slow, the last car was getting 14.676 pre reflash! I'd expect low-mid 13s for this one.

Wasn't going near it! I can see both sides of the fence, but I didn't expect it to be that passionate!

You guys obviously have more sense than I do when it comes to NOT entering a "holy war".
My comment was intended as a response to MINX's and I must say MINX,

Looking closely at the photo, I could see that they've done an excellent job, especially at the gap where the 2 pieces meet. I'll pay them a visit some time next week after I receive my parcel. Can't wait for a return to the old look. I also have a pair rear mudflaps to enhance the aesthetic appeal.

Re: Crapweasel's SE II - Maniac
New interior mod arrived today, Blox Racing Type R shift knob.
Heavy: Yes.
Shiny and the colour I was after: Yes.
Paint quality on the shift pattern: Not what I expected. Could be better. Still better than the invisible on the stock though.
Okibi made a comment that the Skunk2 was a little narrower than expected, this one is the same size as far as I can tell. It's a lot narrower than the stock, fortunately I'm a smaller than average guy with proportionate hands so will be ok with this after I get used to it.
Weight: 450g.
Colour: "Limited Series" Platinum (I don't believe limited series anything in this type of item)
Pics - complete with bootlid sticker: More pics to follow once fitted, with Okibi's very helpful advice for getting the boot to sit up properly (Thanks!)
(Note the crap paint on the right hand side)
