Do that, report back with at least a photo and then we will try and help.

Re: Those windscreen cool air scoops...?
I'm confused as to why something like this would be required in a car with no roof and windows down.

They are apparently very effective at getting air to your feet...gets quite hot down there!
Silvia, if you are interested in them, I'd be up for one as well. I suspect BadBong might be as well - if I remember correctly, he used to have one.

Re: Those windscreen cool air scoops...?
I had one in the NB8A and it's great in summer
Helps circulate the air etc
They use to have side ones that you mount onto the quarter window frames when the window is down but they must of canned it because I couldn't find it when someone asked me about it awhile ago.

Re: Those windscreen cool air scoops...?
Side ones that fit onto the quarter windows sound good - though they wouldn't do much for the toasted tootsies effect
But then you wouldn't have to remove them when putting the roof up either!
Apu is kindly going to organise this shipment. I'd suggest he sets a deadline like July 5 - or orders a few extra for stragglers..

Re: Those windscreen cool air scoops...?
They look good...being tested by the same maker as the windscreen scoop.
There was a time when you could loosen a couple of knobs on the windscreen frame and pivot the glass open a bit. I saw
a kombi van with opening windscreen too...
