Dont tell Sally
Yeah I have been trying to upgrade the safety stuff, almost done. Last thing is to go to a 6 pt from 5 point harness.
So linkages are wrong how?

Hitchhiker: No! No, no, not 6! I said 7. Nobody's comin' up with 6. Who works out in 6 minutes? You won't even get your heart goin, not even a mouse on a wheel.
Ted: That - good point.
Hitchhiker: 7's the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 dwarves. 7, man, that's the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office.
Ted: Why?
Hitchhiker: 'Cause you're fuckin' fired!

Re: MAZMAD'S Track car (and Driver) build
Speaking to Daniel today, he is having a few issues shoehorning the Cobra Evo seat in
Will have to lose the adjustable rails and bolt it to the floor. The guys in the US that have fitted them have had some issues, but I hoped with more room on the Rhs might not be a drama.
Ah we'll, just means have to find similar midgets for enduro co drivers.

Here is the perfect tool for the delicate task of shoehorning a Cobra Evo seat into an MX5.
A bloody big hammer!! Deckers 1 / Evo nil. Seat now in as you can see
Postcript: the hammer wasn't actually used, just a bit of editorial licence. Although it was a battle and apparently the apprentice's hair turned curly with the swearing going on

Re: MAZMAD'S Track car (and Driver) build
Great day at Wakefield today for the All British MRA. The weather cleared last night so there was water streaming across the track early on today on turns 2, the fishhook and turn 10 onto the straight.
But it improved gradually over the day. The water on those turns was there all day! We have had a HUGE amount of rain over the week but none today and the last few races were in sunshine.
I did the Super TT and the MX5 races, as did Daniel x 2, and weevil Chris. Makes for a busy day, but so much fun!
I qualified ok for both. But the first race which was early in the morning was the Super TT. And I had a shocker, getting very loose and in traffic but fortunately no damage! Improved from there though thankfully. All in all a fantastic day, SO much fun, and great bunch of guys and gals to hang with.
Here is my loot from the day, displayed by a future co-driver. I got a second in class in the TT trophy race and a third in the mx5 trophy race.

The Super TT trophy race from Sunday, my 5th race for the day at that stage!
Still some water in spots on the track.
