What tool is this? (seriously...)

I have tried all sorts of drivers, finally got the right bit from our service dept at work, but they don't know where it came from. I need to buy one for myself. Looks like a hex but allen keys don't work. I keep buying gear with this fitting.

Tool bit has S2 7/64 on it.

Its a security allen key.

Buy a sexurity bit set from bunnings.

Easy.

Regarding the markings, it looks like S2 would be the grade of tool steel and 7/64 is presumably the size.

Security.

Security bolts have a pin in the middle of them that a regular allen key wont work on.

Bunnings have the security bits for allen key and torx bits in a set, no idea if they have imperial stuff?

Even if they don't at least I can ask Mr Google where to buy it. Punching in S2 7/64 tool or driver just kept giving me drivers for windows 7 64 bit !

If you want tools or tool bits, taps ,dies ,etc then go to someone who understands engineering products eg Tool Shop or a fastener supplier. There are many bits and some are intended to be tamper proof ie things like torx are commonly used but requires a specific tool to remove. Medical equipment is often the same. I would also guess that 7/64 is the measurement across the flats and it is probably a hex. It looks like it removes something like a socket head cap screw or something that does not protrude.

I keep getting attachments for a roll cage from the US with these fittings. Destroyed one set of bolts trying to use Allen keys.

Another source of these tools is Jaycar. I bought a set a few years ago.....I haven't found much that it wouldn't fit.
