there are no BRG NB's i'm guessing your reffering to grace green.

Jumping on the end of this old discussion.
As I will be shopping for the car in NC series what colours were available?

Not to say I can necessarily find something for sale in the colour I'd like but would be interested to know what my possible choices are. Which is most common and which the most rare.

In general context about cars and colours the vehicles shape will have some bearing on how well a colour works or does not.
From my novice observations so far the MX-5 body shape is pretty tolerant of working In many colours.

What I'd like (not necessarly what I could ever find) would be an MX-5 in an pearlescent white, not a hard fridge white but that very deep slightly off white pearl With maybe a grey trim.

BRG (did you know, even back when there really were racing colours) there were several variations of the BRG depending on the year. Old classic car photo's will show it being anything from a very dark green to an almost apple green.
Be that as it may I always like a BRG with red or beige interior.

I like some blues but not sure what interior colour works best with them.
Like to see a bright yellow MX-5

Drove an NC in solid black, black interior made it too much black for my taste but though never being a fan of black cars I thought the black Mx-5 looked nice. Black is high maintenance though.

White NCs are fairly scarce.

There is Ford colour which is dead ringer for the mazdaspeed lava orange. I would be very tempted to paint mine this colour.

Close, yes, but the Ford colour is actually quite a lot lighter...

Here's a comparison:

My silver NB hardly ever needs cleaning and always looks good. On the other hand it's a tad conservative and I sometimes wish for more of a "statement" colour to stand out more. I think the light blue ones look best followed by yellow then red.....
ah well it sure doesn't effect the driving - the important bit

I buy based on mechanical condition & price, colour isn't part of the equation. That said my NB just happens to be black and I'm grateful for that.
