Ok...as the heading suggest, is anyone keen on joining me and possibly others on a epic drive? The total distance for this drive is approximately 270km, taking on some of the most enjoyable roads (suitable to an MX5) on the northern side of Brisbane. The starting point will be at the carpark outside CJ bakery in Woodford at about 9.30am.

Please note that I'll be driving within the speed limit, if you wish to go quicker, do so at your own perils.

Starting from the bakery, we will head west along D'aguilar Highway, turning into Kilcoy-Beerwah road and then onto the twisty sections of Bellthorpe Range Road. We will then proceed northerly through Reesville and Kenilworth via Kenilworth Brooloo Road. A bit further passed Imbil, we will make a u-turn at Bollier to head back.

On the return leg, we will proceed southerly along Skyring Creek road, turning into Eumundi-Kenilworth Road and then into Obi Obi Road for more twisty fun roads. Entering the town of Mapleton, we turned into Flaxton Drive passed Montville and into Balmoral ridge. Here we will take Bald Knob road into Peachester then onto Kilcoy Beerwah road for our final destination back at the same bakery to bid farewell.

For those living in the southern side of Brisbane, you have the option of heading back to Brisbane via D'aguilar Highway onto Bruce Highway or taking on Esk-Kilcoy Road towards Wivenhoe and Somerset Dam. The other option is to follow me on a descend through Mount Mee into Dayboro then into Samford Valley and return to the city via The Gap/Ashgrove.

Meeting Location: CJ Bakery carpark in Woodford - IGA store next door.
When: Sunday June 23rd, 2013
Time: 9.00am for 9.30am departure.
Things to bring: Full tank of fuel and RACQ roadside assistance if you have one.
Other things: Sunscreen hat, pack light refreshments etc.

NOTE - I'll be stopping for toilet breaks and enough time for a quick light snacks only. You're welcome to leave any any stage of the run if you desire.

Hi guys, sorry to the above post regarding the date changed. The drive must now revert back to the original date. The drive is happening on Sunday, the 23rd as stated in the FIRST post.
