I'm not surprised at all. Anyone looking for a well-sorted NA would appreciate what you've done with it and think "Why would anyone keep 2 MX5s?"

I have a niece in Adelaide who's recently got her P's and if she had the money for it, I may have sent you a PM too.

After waiting 22 days for delivery by the freight company  these arrived today from Okibi ...

Gave them a quick clean and found these tucked in the back pocket ...

Cheers mate ...

... I'm supposed to be taking it easy for a while ... Doctor's orders ... but to hell with that!! Been waiting long enough! I want to see these seats fitted ...

OK ... seats are in. Have also added an SE steering wheel. Still need to fit the red stitched gear lever boot, but waiting with that for when I upgrade the HVAC lighting. Don't want to be taking it all apart too often.

Funny thing, my son & I went for a drive through the hills locally to get some photo's (my bit of test track  ) and we were having so much fun testing the BC's and the seats we forgot to stop and take any photos

So got home & just took the hard top off to get some shots (why the tonneau cover doesn't look like it's fitted properly).

I forgot that Okibi had mentioned he'd done a foamectomy on the driver's seat. WOW!! What a difference that makes! Not sure how much lower I am sitting in the car now, but feels great! Makes the seat feel much better and gives a better driving position. Don't know if there is any difference in support shape with the SE seats to normal NB8B/C seats, but, using the passenger seat to compare (as that hasn't been modified) they feel like they hug you just a little bit more than my other 8B seats. Maybe just imaginary, they look identical next to each other.

Very happy with how it's looking :D

They look great, my fat ass probably helped compact the foam a bit
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

haha ... trouble is now I made the mistake of allowing my wife to sit in the driver's seat & guess what? ... want's her seat done the same way :?

Must admit, sitting that bit lower in the seat means the side support is better. Guess I'd better start looking at how it's done

Thanks Monty ...

With all the replacement bits I've now received for the NB, I can put Mexie back to how I built her. She wasn't the same after I took out the bits n pieces and put them in the NB.

Must look into foamectomy, thought it was only good for tall people.

Red looks V.Nice, now all it needs is a vintage KG Works instrument panel to complete.

I'm 5'11 and the foamectomy done on this seat suits me perfectly. Makes the side bolsters more functional sitting that much lower. My vision isn't impaired and feels so much better to the steering wheel and pedals.

To see how it's done try this: Club Roadster "How to" foamectomy

nah ... I like the white 8B instrument panel

Don't mean to hijack the thread but are there any more of these stickers about? Always seem to late!

That's funny, the inside of your car looks much like an SE, and the inside of my engine bay looks much like an SE!
