Brisbane Detailing/Dyno Combo Day - 24th August 2013.

Postby Crapweasel » Wed Jun 05, 2013 11:33 pm

Ok Guys,

Seeing as we had a good turnout for 18th May, and everyone seemed to have a good time - be it having their pride and joy renewed, or just to come along and socialise a little, I've decided to organise another one.

This time though, we have a twist, as the guys at GT Auto, who are onsite with Automotive plus are willing to do dyno runs for us, price will depend on how many people we have, so there's a "group buy" on the table straight away.

$110.00 per run if we have less than 10 cars, or $88 for more than 10.

It will be a good opportunity to either get a grasp on how you're going vs stock for the mods you've done, or set a baseline for mods you want to do.

If you could register your interest for just the dyno testing at this stage then I'll get in touch with the hosts to set a suitable date for both detailing hosting and dynoing and start a new thread with confirmed details. I'm thinking 27th July at this stage, just to give an idea, but can shift around if there's something big I'm missing on this day that means a lot of people miss out who would attend otherwise.

Detailing details (heh) will be put forward in the next thread.

Great idea, I'm away till the 29th and my car doesn't run reliably enough at the moment to sign up though.

Interested in the detailing but not the Dyno. I don't need to spend $100 to find out my car is slow.

1 - Magpie (provided it is after 27/07 as I will not have it, therefore between 28/07 and 01/08, however my engine maybe rpm limited or between 17/08 and 22/08)

Pete

Not worried about the power of either but keen to bring the NB for 'detail' but will only slot in if spare space available seeing I had the NA done last time

Sounds good and great to see Automotive Plus/GT Auto Garage assisting - may even bring the 86 down and have a talk to the guys at GT Auto about the titanium dual exhaust replacment for my 86
