Hi guys, about to fit NB8B brakes to my NA (so will have to ditch the 14" wheels) and have some 15" wheels off an NB which fit over front brakes (270mm) with about 8-10mm clear at hose conn. to caliper. In theory should be ok and the general "talk" on the forum seems to punt for 15" wheels over 16" anyhow. (I'm also going to need a 15" spacesaver if anyone has one available in Vic!!)
My question is has anyone any experience with the close proximity of the hose conn and the inner rim? It worries me a little that a stone could get wedged and do something nasty - perhaps I'm worrying too much?
Please tell me I'm ok and should proceed.
Thanks.

Re: NB8B brakes and 15" wheels
I have done motorkhanas with NB8A wheels on an SE without any issues, but I haven't done any track days. I agree that the banjo bolt is very close!

I have ditched the space saver and keep a slime kit in my boot (bottle slime, air compressor etc). I have the NB8B brakes as well with 15" 6UL's with no issues.

I was wondering about 15" rims on an SE model just the other day. Couldn't help but think they would look good down and dirty on the smaller rims. I wasn't sure if they would fit over the brakes.

Some pics of Lokiel's SE with 15" wheels half way down:
