Loving the little upgrades Wilch!

To neaten up the engine bay, I think you should paint this black! Just a suggestion!

Yeah, that bit is an eyesore. Such a pain in the bum to do properly though. I've been thinking to get some POR 15 and brushing it on. Definitely will do it at some point.

Oh, and the car's fixed

*touch wood*. The problem was the wiring.

IIRC the thermostat sensor is rough cast, so no brushstroke issues.

POR15 unfortunately only comes in largish quantities (the smallest "Starter" kit was enough for my girlfriend to do 2-3 coats in her MX5's boot)

I think caliper paint might work, spray some into a jar and then brush it on. It goes on nice and thin so brush lines won't show on the casting.
It's how I did the caliper on my Mondeo, and they have held up fine for the past 2 years or so.

Last week my girlfriend bought me Forza4 for the xbox360. So on the weekend I setup my wheel and pedals, and built my MX5 in Forza.

It's been a little while. Have done a few things, new clutch, chromoly flywheel, zest turn signal intakes, gotten rid of the chrome, etc.

looks clean mate.. rims look different. me thinks it would look tough with a set of black race style rims rpf1/6ul's etc..

Every second MX5 you see online has that style of wheel. These are much more unique and interesting.
