Re: What have you done today/recently to your 5?
While I had the panel, covers & carpets out of the boot to fit the coilovers, I decided to remove everything that could be removed and give the boot a really good clean. 14 years of dust, moisture & other alien rubbish was removed from all the nooks & cranny's. The whole boot was then given a really good wash & clean. Cleaned the carpets and even cleaned the spare wheel and tyre, the jack and the little parts bucket on the side before putting them all back. Looked great when finished! Can't see any of it of course, but a feel good thing to do. I'm kinda like that ...

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Fitted a Sparco Sprint Jr into the drivers side. Passengers is still out. Poor lumbar support, might use a fat washer or two to tilt it back a tiny bit to compensate, or make up a little pillow for that spot with velcro. I very quickly found out that the spiky side of velco sticks to these seats like a lizard on a windowpane. Besides that it's awesome!

Where would you recommend to buy quality coils from? Two of mine have cracked the top due to me tightening down too much and heat/vibration has caused the top to break up.

Toyota...
I think Sam q (Google) has some genuine ones for sale. I bought a set from him after killing numerous cheap ones. Haven't had an issue with them. You might be lucky and find a set at a wreckers.
If you have the mounting bracket from Pham, you only need to tighten then nut so one thread shows - the Nylock will keep it in place.

Rotated my tyres and checked my brakes. Checked over the Factory jack and fix a flat kit as well.
Wow that Factory jack is a real piece of work!

Re: What have you done today/recently to your 5?
Been a bit quiet on my end. Got another toy, a BMW 135i so won't be throwing too much money at the mx5.
Finally got around to putting in my green Supra injectors into the SE. Also cleaned the intake manifold as it was VERY dirty.
Both combined has improved my idle! Feels factory smooth now (until the turbo kicks in...)
Trying to convince myself to keep the SE. Plan on joining the MX5 Club (WA) this year and joining in on some events.
Oh... the BMW oil filter is so much easier to change than the mx5 haha.

After you join the club and participate in some events, I'm sure you will be more than convinced to keep the SEkenson wrote:Trying to convince myself to keep the SE. Plan on joining the MX5 Club (WA) this year and joining in on some events.
