lol. Yes I will put the lip back on, just waiting to see if I have to have anything else done about my air conditioning, as I don't think the mechanic will be able to get the car on his hoist with the lip on...

Had it gassed up in January and a couple of months later it was empty again. I took it back and they gassed it again, reckon they pressure tested and couldn't find any leaks. But I'm not convinced. I think there might still be a slow leak somewhere.

That's all looking really nice. The combination of the wheels, lips and black around the windscreen really works.

That's tidy. Nicely done.

I think another Hunter meet is in order. I want to see this car.

Thanks for the kind words guys, I'm pretty happy with the final outcome, apart from some poorly matching red paintwork :frown:

Don't get too excited, I don't have any secret weapons under the bonnet! This is a budget build - just maintenance and a few little DIY styling mods. But if the Mt Sugarloaf meet is on in June I will come.

Neither do I, not for a while yet at least. So mine isn't fast or pretty. But I'm planning to do a similar red and black theme with my car so I'm interested to see yours in the metal. I'm also a bit curious about your Recaro, and I just like meeting other MX5 owners.

Aren't all red NA's multicoloured?

I have been known to tell people that I'm writing a book about mine called "Fifty Shades of Red". Terrible joke I know, but it's not far from the truth.

I really like the black windscreen surround! Gives me ideas for my car. Also, how did you go about making your front indicators yellow?

It's just adhesive tint - $2.69 on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321077554985

Pretty easy to apply and from limited testing seems like it comes off easily enough if required.
Indicators still look orange when blinking so hopefully the cops will leave me alone.

Ah very good. I thought they might of been a different lense. Looks really good mate! What other plans do you have? Really liking what you have done so far!
