A volunteer to Host a Tech Day in Melb?

I can't predict how the weather is gonna be like on the day itself, but if somebody's bringing a power random orbital buffer pads etc, wouldn't mind getting a hand in getting the car polished.

May need help in installing a CAI (but may not reach the shores in time), else I'll be happy to just hang around to help around and just check out the cars for more mod ideas

It has been a few years since we did green comments clutch install.
Now that Im back in Melbourne I have been meaning to get the giant ramps out and do another clutch install day when the weather is warmer....

I might just bleed my breaks saftey for winter wet roads.

Anyone installing suspension or a diff I will bring the large angle grinder, I havent used that for ages too...

For any of the ladies that might be interested the MAZDA CAR CLUB will also be hosting a how to (basics) going through tyre change, fluids, car care, wiper bade clean and check, tyre and a light check ready for winter. This will be on the tech day at 12pm followed by lunch. Please share this around as its important to know and could one day get someone out of trouble. Guys are welcome to

I'm still coming, but the help that I need has changed. I've since advanced the timing, and now I need help checking that my belts are all at the right tension, and possibly someone just having a look to confirm that it's all good.

Also, installing 2 Sparco Sprint JR seats

How do you intend mounting your seatbelt (female) receptacle?

I think you need an angle grinder to install the seats to stock nb8b rails. IIRC the female recptical comes with the rail, should use the high tensile strength bolts to mount the seat to the rail.

The drivers side seat went in just by drilling an extra hole in each rail, and the seat belt female side is part of the rails. I believe the passenger side seat is not just a new hole and bam its done job, requiring grinding before it will fit.

I've done the drivers side! Now I'll just take the passenger stock seat out and strap the sparco seat to the stock rails, do up the buckle for safety and throw a grinder and some sockets and stuff into the boot!

6. Juffa - Need to adjust check/adjust softtop set plates and maybe refit NB wind blocker, and tell everyone how good I am at fitting brake pads and then prove otherwise.

okay, do we have the address for the Tech/Dodgy day?
it's a Monday and i haven't had my coffee, so might've missed it...

also, may not be fitting any intake kit.. so it's either polishing the car or just getting people to have a general car care to see if there are things I should be changing (e.g. brake pads, tyres)
