Seeing shueys car makes me want to wash mine.

Today I adjusted the throttle cable.

It was super slack and I ran out of thread I decided to use the top hole to mount the cable.

Was sitting on 2k.

Loosened it up a bit and now its sitting spot on 1k!

Got lost while going for a long drive, ended up taking a wrong turn onto a dirt road which proceeded to turn into a twisty, pot-holed and slightly muddy but fun drive.

Now my car needs a clean

Naw, I didn't want to take the risk and drill in the holes..so I went to a panel shop. But a little DIY action in putting on some double sided tape later to fill in the gaps (panel shop ran out of tape). Posting up some photos and a short write up now

I too gave Sparky a good scrub and wax after getting it all muddy from the day trip around Yarra Valley and Mt Dandenong. Missus complains that I spend way too much time in the garage :mrgreen:

Just finished putting a boost gauge in place of the oil gauge in the SE.
still need to sort out led globes to match the brightness of the speedhut gauge. The factory covers have faded to a dull orange. (and ones blown)

Funny you should mention that :lol:

... I fitted new bulbs to mine today because my gauges looked dull. I remained with filament bulbs. With the old bulbs I couldn't see any light in the dials during daylight and they looked dull at night even with the fader up on full. With these coated bulbs they're much brighter plus the light is a cleaner looking red.

Ohh where'd you get those from?
Iv been looking around and autobahn seem to have the best LEDs, top and side of globe so apparently the spread is very wide (actually Jaycar has much better ones but they are about 5mm too tall) but I haven't noticed anyone with red globes like those.
(many years ago I use to paint them with brake light red paint as the covers were just terrible, but the red paint eventually faded too....
