MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB - BATHURST BREKKIE RUN -16 Jun 2013
Meet: McDonalds Richmond Rail
Time: 6:30am for 7:00am start
Details: The BreakFast Club Run is heading west across the Blue Mountains to Bathurst in June. This event starting at sunrise is the warm up for two consecutive monthly dawn buster runs, the Brass Monkey going South in July with the Iceberg Run scheduled to go North in August. The brekkie venue in June is The Hub Cafe in Bathurst awarded the Best Breakfast Cafe in Australia 2011.
The planned route to brekkie is to run the Tarana/O’Connell Road through to The Lagoon then up to Bathurst. Whether we take this route out is dependent upon the frost forecasts for the day. The alternate route is the Great Western Highway. After breakfast and a few slow laps of The Mountain the return route will go further south of the GWH on some great quiet back roads south to Lithgow to cross the Great Dividing Range.
RSVP: Place your name on the list on this thread as The Hub has asked us to pre-book to get everyone served as quick as possible. The BreakFast Club has reserved 30 spots for brekkie. A menu for the breakfast mains has been posted in More Info on the Club’s Event Calendar with full details on the Event and what you must do if you want a seat at the breakfast table.

Should this be the 16th June? If so, I'm in with a shotgun rider

EDIT: So like a male faced by a flatpack from IKEA, Villa didn't bother with the instructions before posting and therefore missed the instruction regarding breakfast selection Villa and his shotgun rider will make a decision well before the Thursday prior cut-off in accordance with their cravings at the time Hopefully by that point Villa will also resolve his penchant for speaking about himself in the 3rd person, al la Michael Clarke

Re: MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB - BATHURST BREKKIE RUN -16 Jun 2013
Just noticed that the links in the More Info PDF are not working properly on i-devices. The links work fine on a computer. My iPhone is adding "%20" (ASCII code for a space) to the end of the link and it's not finding the file as a result (you can remove the "%20" yourself and it will load the PDF). There is no space in the original link before it was PDFed. Strange ... and very frustrating!
To make this process easier, here are all the links you need:
More Info
Google Map with run directions
Waypoint Run Information Sheet
Incident Sheet
BreakFast Menu
All this will be SOOOO much easier to manage when we launch our new website in the next month or two
