Hi guys, Automotive Plus will have their NB8A race car running on the day. Jason and Jeff will be sharing the driving. :D

Feel free to have a chat to them about your MX-5 or any MX-5/Mazda questions that you may have.

The race car is a platform for Automotive Plus to showcase some of their products and services that they offer the MX-5 community. The development of the car is only in it's infancy, with a view to improve its performance over the next 18 months. So once again feel free ask Jason, Jeff or myself any questions regarding the build to date.

Cheers,
Danny

ps. I can't wait to get back on the track with the MX-5 Club of QLD track day after a 3 year hiatus!

I second what Roger stated.

Will Jason and Jeff be bringing their tools with them to do track side repairs as it is a 'work' day for them :) If the effort that is being shown by MX5 Plus in devolping my engine is anything to go by I look forward to seeing the performance changes in your race car over the next 18 months.

Can someone confirm 100% that the CTP extension applies to the vehicle regardless of the driver.

Andrew - CTP relates to the CAR only, it's the Insurance Company named on the registration papers NOT the one where the car is insured for damage

It relates to the car only regardless of how many drivers or whether the driver is the owner

If you dont have one, Mark will accept seeing it on a phone if they email it to you on Monday - or maybe the company can fax direct to QR

Hope that clarifies

I will be at Automotive Plus tomorrow, so if you are there we can go thru it - running the GTiR?

Current looks like we could go 45+ on the day

Such a menace, cutting hoops on a flat, straight, well-lit stretch of motorway where he's visible from 2km away ;) Not to encourage him of course. Ruins it for everyone else, but at least he's not actually risking anyone else's safety by picking the safest possible (illegal) spot to do burnouts, at ~2am.
