Don't want to see more pics of bent SEs! Mine is a daily driver at the moment and i'm already very paranoid. :lol:

Sorry to hear about the damage, isn't it better to claim sooner rather than later when everything is fresh in your mind.

Well, spring has sprung and I've finally gotten a chance to start doing some stuffs on the car.

1. Finally got around to fitting the rest of the IL Motorsports bushings for the suspension. Did the front a few months back but then had the same prob in the rear where the ZIRK fittings for the delrins had corroded so I couldn't lube 'em any more and the spherical bearings had frozen solid. After a wheel alignment (FM recommendations) the NVH has dropped at least 50% and the ride is far more bearable. Had to stiffen up the AFCO's quite a bit more as I'd set 'em pretty soft to compensate for the delrin/spherical

2. Ordered these puppies to fix the incident with the Toyota Highlander. They should arrive in the next few weeks. CF front guards. Will be colour matched when I get bored of the ricer look.

3. Ordered and fitted smoked corner markers front and rear off of ebay. The add describes them as different front and rear. They're not. They fit puuuurfect for the rear but needed too add some spacers in the front to they sit rite. Now all is good. They're a bit darker than I wanted but oh well.

4. The grill was showing signs of age and in a brief attempt to fit the Nautilis horn I've had for years, the grill had to come off(horn install will go in when fitting the CF guards) and gave her a sand and polish to get it back to 95% new

5. Previously had a crazy idle issue(months ago) and fixed by replacing the TB and IAC from the old engine and fixed the prob. All through winter I was having start issues and more recently idle dip/stalling probs. Got the old stuff yesterday for an experiment after fixing a similar issue on a friends Acura. Pulled the old IAC off, looked at it and thought, hmmm, looks pretty bloody clean! We have the can, lets see what happens anyhow. Checked it was in fact still functioning and proceeded to spray TB cleaner in there. It was dirty, 4 loads of spray required whilst activating it required to get the TB cleaner to come out clear. Removed TB and swapped over the IAC and BAM! Idles back to normal with no dips and nice easy starts regardless.

6. Ghetto centre caps for the RPF1's. I've run the ENKEI center caps for years but never liked 'em. Went to Home Depot, grabbed some 2" electrical plugs and proceeded to set up up for a purpose they were never intended for.

Great update, cars looking fantastic, might be another contender for a coat of matt black on that grill. :mrgreen:

Well, I just discovered "Six degrees of separation" to my number plates.

Bob Dylan's "Hurricane" about Rubin "Hurricane" Carter locked up for being black. Turns out he spent his time at the prison where my plates were made!

I thought it was interesting anyhow. Love Bob Dylan and this album but only just made the NJ connection!

Well, I finally installed the Over Night Parts From Japan NOPRO cowl washer bottle.

Well actually, the washer bottle did come from Japan from a dude off Mazda-speed.com but it's just the bottle, not the NOPRO kit. He's living in Japan and hit him up on the off chance he still had some. And it wasn't overnight either but I'm not Vin Diesel from F&F :lol:

Delivered for $70 USD plus a trip to Home Depot for an assortment of M6 nuts and bolts - $14.95 including taxes. Only used 2 bolts and 2 nuts from that lot however.

All in preparation for the soon to be done engine rebuild and while I'm there, the Thompson remote oil filter kit will be installed but I need to make room for that first!

I'd read some instructions on how on how to install and wasted a lot of time by not just following those instructions. I was trying to avoid making brackets and just enlarging the holes on the bottle itself. Turns out you do need to make brackets and don't need to modify the bottle at all :cry:
