Spent Saturday afternoon installing satin black valve cover along with new gasket. I also dropped both gearbox and diff fluid and filled with new.

I have probably drank too much tonight, but for a moment I thought you said you had painted your valve cover satin black and then accidently dropped in in your diff oil.

After my epic last weekend timing belt and waterpump change I finished off the other jobs I ran out of inclination to do...
Replaced rear pads - EBC Yellow stuff
Bled brakes completetly
Bled Clutch completely
Oil + filter
wet and dry + machine polish front lip (Had forgotten to do this ages ago so it looked a different colour)
Car good for a while now.

Good gracious I did something to my car this weekend!
Swapped the 4.1 diff for a 4.3. Its priority was upgraded so we could get a spare NA8 half shaft for the kaaz diff in the NA6, because we keep encountering driveshafts that won't pop out of hubs.
