awesome to the max.
how does it go over stone chips, is it more obvious or less obvious than before you dipped it?
did you just give it a good clean, was there any specific pre other than the obvious?

It looks pretty amazing for such a simple job. Maybe a bit Skyline tho ...
Has anyone tried plastidip on race wheels? They do get pretty hot, often too hot to touch. They claim it's good for 200deg C but does it really take race heat?

good job man.
did the finish go furry to the touch or is it smooth. I noticed when I did my wheels it was furry.
best part is you can get rid of it with a pressure cleaner.

Wouldn't call it furry, no.
I've hit them many times with a pressure washer and there's no peeling yet.

The NB doesn't really have a hard line there that you could follow does it? I think it would be weird. Just doing the windscreen surround and hard top could look good though.

I'm keen to check it out. What's with the ride height in the back? Doesn't it turn in really bad having it set up like that?

Re: plastidipped car paint thread thingo
I'm sure someone on here painted a hard top with it, decided it was crap and went to peel it off only to find the paint had properly bonded in to swirls and chips and it was going to need a proper sand and paint to fix.
Worth keeping in mind that this stuff needs an immaculate surface to be truly removable.
Other than that I love what the OP has done...well the colours are not my choice but I love that he had a go and did what he wanted with it.
Something else of interest; I have noticed a few body shops that are in to custom work are now offering plastidip painting as an alternate to a wrap thats not as permanent as paint.
