Would anyone like to suggest some wheels for a blue NA8 Clubman?

Criteria would be something that is available locally, does not require guard rolling or pumping and no greater then 15" diameter. I thought the factory BBS LE wheels were pretty cool but we were also thinking something more traditional such as old SSR's or Hayashi etc. I was considering Enkei Apache II's in the 15x7 but they would probably have to be ordered in as the 8's are really a touch to big for the car. I've been keeping an eye out for second hand sets but haven't found much or interest yet.

You guys have some very nice looking NA's in this thread!

I considered the Apache II's for my car, I love the old school look of them. The same goes for the SSR's etc although they are hard to acquire in 4x100 (most are 4x114.3), especially locally and still cost a pretty penny second hand.

I settled with a set of Work Nezart (similar to Meisters) as I got them for a reasonable price.

For some styling ideas, have a look at some of the pics here: http://clubroadster.net/vb_forum/32-brakes-wheels-tires-sponsored-jscspeed-com/25080-fitment-thread.html

Also, for ideas on how they will look on a blue NA, have a look here:
http://clubroadster.net/vb_forum/20-exterior-sponsored-r-speed/10402-post-your-blue-miata-roadster-mx-5-a.html

Another, locally, cheap option available in a few offsets/sizes are BBS replica's (i know some people don't like replicas and want the real deal). They are Nemoto Mesh and are available through Otomoto: http://www.otomoto.com.au/c/4425375/1/new-nemoto-wheels.html

He sells second hand JDM wheels, but as stated above, mainly in 114.3 (unless you want to run an adaptor).

Then you have the usual Rota, Drag and XXR wheels that also are available in styles that replicate some JDM wheels. If you were considering Hayashi's, have a look at the Rota Shakotan. Drag DR20's (<700 imported from the US) look similar to Work Equip 03's.

There is a fellow who resides in Melbourne who has quite a few rare old Japanese wheels for sale.

This is a link i found of his latest stock. He has a few more in prior posts, however theres quite a few gems on that page as well.
Good luck and buy something traditional! You won't regret it.
