new trend

Postby narita » Mon Apr 29, 2013 8:53 pm

So I have just noticed this new trend, its called "STAYNCE".

I have seen a few cars including a mx5 online that modify to the staynce style.

For those who are unaware of the trend it involves cars with high offset rims and small tyres matched with a lowered springs.

The question is, since australia follows america, how long untill we see it here in aus?

(I saw will and not if because I know the international trend history)

Assuming troll,

But if not, it's hardly new. Cruise jdm style tuning or downshift and you will see heaps of stanced cars.

Also when describing small tires on big rims its called stretch ;)

No I mean staynce not jdm style.

Staynce is different from jdm it does not look functional at all...

Correct, however JDM style tuning forum attracts a lot of stance tryhards.

I'm guessing if you google imaged of hard parked you would get similar style to what you've seen as stance?

Maybe once they roll off the rims this will become the next trend here  . At least we'll then be seen when driving next to other urban warriors

So I just did a Google Image Search for "staynce". This is not what I expected.

Seems somewhat appropriate though... :P

I believe people are taking the piss out of you because stance (without the Y) has been around a long time. And it is not American, it is Japanese, and like America, Australia is just following a trend.

And please dont use the terms 'new just in' when you currently are not currently kept up to date with trends.
