I like it also. Did a trawl of the net of yellow cars with different rim colours. A Honda S 2000 caught my eye with white rims.
Going to plasti dip black mirrors and windscreen surround .

On the Audi, yes it is sadly - they hadn't perfected their convertible rally cars at that stage.

Looks very successful so far. Since I looked at the evil bee pic I've been very tempted to blacken my white car like that too, including the mirrors.

Put up photos when you so. Will probavly attack mirrors tomorrow and finish wednesday.

Black is practical too because you don't have to clean off the rubber you collect on the rims so often.

LOL, just my opinion; black rims are definitely polarising, you either love them or hate them.

Stay away from Nickel, they look cheap irl. The finish is crap and it doesn't hold up very well to stone chips. Go for just flat silver or a semi-gloss low sheen black.

I just got a set of gunmetal M21028 rims...for my Malibu...I have been looking for a set of these for 6 years!...actually I could only get 3, but I will get another hollowspoke polished and painted to match to make up the set.

I've got a gunmetal grey wheels just like ones, in the 4-5 post and a set of matt black.
Your not to far from me, you are more than welcome to try them on and see what you think.
