Took it for a drive down to bunnings. Noticed they were shut today, took it for a drive down Bruce Highway to southbound BP for pie and coffee. Ran into Zero00 in his 86, stayed for a chat then drove home. Gave it a wash and polish, now it looks new again.

Ha! Ha! CaptainNate, you've seen some of my other posts. Actually I bought some Gorilla Glue today from Auto Pro - sticks almost anything I'm told!

Would be cool to see some photos of the NC tail lights in the NA hole to outline the differences.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Even with the Gorilla its proving too hard without major cutting and shaping. NC is about 10 mm out in any direction and lights themselves are to big deep and too big to fit in a clear standard tail lightglass. They were looking good for a minute there.

Ensconsed a very beautiful girl into the passenger seat and drove to Daylesford for a walk through the Botanic Gardens followed by a late lunch before winding our way back to Castlemaine via, Trentham, Tylden, Springhill and Glenlyon and Yandoit. A truely wonderful day filled with things that I have not done for quite a time, and I was only growled at once for travelling too quickly :) .

Well if you haven't done it in awhile you might be a bit spirited.

That was my point but it was deemed moot.

Nice bunch of roads through the forests down there, I do a fair bit of work around that area & i still have not had a chance to take the 5 down that way. Bit disappointing that the lakeside cafe burned down @ Daylesford I was going to take the Girlfriend there for a coffee at one point. :frown:

Hi Red,
There are better coffee places about, but if you wanted the experience, take a thermos, grab something nice to eat in the town and find a nice spot near the lake, picnic rugs and ants always work  . The Convent Gallery is a nice spot (Coffeee and Cake, the food lacks), if it is mid week, a run through to Castlemaine with a visit to the Art Gallery, a walk around the Botanic Gardens and lunch at Origini in Barker Street, Ravioli in Brodo is a beaut cool day lunch with a visit to Mt Franklin on the way.

I discovered that if you hold a paperclip between the negative and positive terminals of a window switch you get a shocking surprise!
I knew I was going to get some form of shock, but not one so powerful

Looks like I won't be needing any redbull for the remainder of my shift!

Saying that, anybody looking to get rid of an NA window switch? :P
