MCCA’s Day out to Maffra... This weekend 21st of April

MCCA have yet another event coming up this Sunday, where we will be driving to Maffra.
We will be meeting at Chifley Doveton between 9 and 9.30am, where Matthew has organised some rolls with Bacon & Eggs or Egg with Juice or Coffee for us all, followed by a drive to Maffra to check out the Gippsland Vehicle Collection & some lunch http://www.gippslandvehiclecollection.org.au/

We will arrive at the Maffra Car Garage around 12 to 12.30pm – Car Garage have been advised our arrival, however please confirm by either replying to this email or heading over to our Facebook page & clicking on the attending button under the events section. Link to our Facebook page can be found below. This will help us to confirm numbers closer to the day. Garage entry is $10 each theme is 60′s.

Lunch at a Cafe in Maffra (will confirm details by Thursday)

Leave Maffra 2 – 2.30pm and go to Heyfield via the scenic route around lake Glenmaggie, where there are some very nice driving roads. Loop back through Willowgrove then along old Sale road to Longworry.

Meet at Caltex on Princes Fwy to end the cruise (probably around 4 -5pm)

Then all head back there own way home via the Princes Fwy and Monash Fwy M1.

3. Turn Right at Monash Freeway – M1
4. Follow M1 to Moe / Newborough Turn off 2nd Exit (Moe) – John Field Drive
5. Turn left onto John Field Drive
6. Turn Right on Shannahan Parade
7. Turn right on to Haunted Hills Road
8. Turn left on to Decampo Drive C471
9. Turn right onto Moe – Glengarry Road C103
10. Travel past Yallourn Power Station to Yallourn North along C103
11. Turn Right to follow C103 towards Tyres
12. Follow C103 through Tyres heading towards Glengarry
13. Turn left onto Trarlgon – Maffra Road C105
14. Follow C105 through Glengarry
15. Follow C105 through Toongabbie
16. Follow C105 through Cowarr – Notice the 44 gallon drum Cows scattered through the town
17. Turn left at Roundabout following C105 to Heyfield
18. Proceed through Heyfield and turn right at roundabout (service station)
19. Follow C105 through heyfield
20. Out of Heyfield turn left on the C105 towards Tinanba / Maffra
21. Turn right at Roundabout in Tinamba C105
22. Follow C105 though the centre of Maffra
23. Stop at the clock tower after the 1st roundabout in Maffra – IGA supermarket on left side Woolworths on right side
