Your SE looks better with the side skirts.

Welcome to the side skirts club.

Don't mind me asking, is the SE boot spoiler drilled into the boot cover or held by double sided tape etc?

It has three holes drilled into the boot lid to mount apparently, but I haven't seen any obvious mounting hardware on the inside.

If you can get hold of one, do it!! (Personal bias - I've seen pics of NB's with the SE spoiler, and personally I think it should have been an option across all models!)

And thanks Kev05, it's good to be back!

Yea, I like it a lot. It's subtle yet sporty enough to make the car look better than it already is..haha! Will try to source one here or perhaps ask some wreckers/garages if they have any lying around (perhaps still attached to the boot lid so I don't have to drill any holes). Thanks!

Thought it was time to "put my stickers where my signature is"!

In addition to the side window Maniac stickers, I now have a mostly complete shopping list inside the boot lid. Now out of room, but the additional weight helps with traction to balance the additional stickerwatts I have by them being there!

Missing one from this pic: H&R Springs which is above the boot latch.

Next time I get stickers from known automotive outlets, I'll save them for you instead of the bin.

I put them all over my toolboxes, then if they get stolen the thieves have to spend hours taking off the stickers if they want to sell the items!

And you have the most powerful toolboxes in Australia!!

For those who aren't in on the joke, this is a dig at the shopping list that old school ricers used to put behind the front wheels, typically seen on white Supras in the early days (Fast & Furious 1 style), but on other makes and models more recently.

I decided that the "sponsor" stickers for power joke was funny, so thought I'd do the same, as an inside (my head) joke, but put them inside the boot, where they belong for my tastes.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Me too, and it ain't just the stickers!! Good old Rubbermaid toolbox with a few basic tools which I use regularly (hammer, file, screwdrivers, pliers etc) and a bunch of useless crap I've had for the last 20 years stacked in this thing, along with some steel screws & nails in the lid, obviously!

It goes ok, but could do with some mods....

Busy day today!

Did the door buzzer mod (30 seconds), swapped the foglights for a new pair as one leaked and was looking pretty (very) crap.

Also decided I didn't like the silly grin that the car had with it's shiny mouth, so painted the grille (And the softtop latches while I was there)

Before:

After:

Also removed baby seat mounts from behind passenger's seat, vacuumed years of crap from back there, gave her a bath & cleaned up the engine bay.

Grill looks better
Next time take the seats right out to vacuum
It's amazing how much crud gets under there
