6 speeders report
Ive become quite curious as to what speed/gear people are driving in.
Could the 6 speed guys & girls please note their speed/gear.
Thanks in advance!

Re: 6 speeders report
Above 80 km/hr in the NC (on the flat) or the engine would be labouring.

Re: 6 speeders report
I only use 6th as a touring gear ie where there is a chance to just sit back and not be swapping cogs. I think the std gearing does not encourage a lot of use of 6th.

Re: 6 speeders report
well, 4.1 torsen with NB8 6sp gear box on my converted NA6 car.
Like most people, I am on 5th usually at the normal 60Km/hr road driving in suburbs. Corners with 3rd gear most of times.

Re: 6 speeders report
When the SE was working properly 60 in 5th would just about be drivable but 4th would be better if acceleration was needed in an emergency. Different on the track of course.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)
