To help out the new guys I'm going to put some time in and write a document that will have not only the 2f and 2b regs included but also the other sections of the various rule books that the 2f and 2b regs call upon.
I think that this is a step towards making all of the regs easier to read, all of the regs you need for a class in one document with no need to refer to separate documents.
On top of this I'm going to contact cams for official answers regarding rules that have been updated by cams but not included in the manual.
For example the below paragraph says that air filters and their housing are free, however what is not written in is that the cams definition for housing includes the intake pipe between the throttle body and the air box.
What I would encourage people to do is post in this thread any rules for which at face value are broken by the majority of cars in each class.
The intent for this is that I will email cams officials for definitions and clarification and include notes within my 'complete documentation for group 2x' document so that new people can understand why all of the cars in a class seem to be universally breaking rules.
The result hopefully is a one stop document that includes all of the clauses from all of the documents relevant to a class, And provides official cams clarification of rules and definitions that probably should have already been updated into the rules but as of yet have not.
